The long awaited Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG is marching forward and the beta test is now live to experience the Tamriel world!
Elder Scrolls Online is an adventure MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) set in the mythical world of Tamriel. The Daedric Prince of enslavement and domination Molag Bal has awakened and is plotting to destroy the lands of Nirn and Oblivion. Three alliances take up arms against Molag Bal and against each other:
- The Daggerfall Covenant (High Rock and Hammerfell: Bretons, Redguards, Orcs)
- The Aldermeri (Valenwood, Elsweyr and Summerset Isles: Wood Elves, Khajiit, High Elves)
- The Ebonheart Pact (Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh: The Nords, Dark Elves, and Argonians)
Choose where your loyalties lie in the fight back against the dark forces as you take your place in this cutting edge, hotly anticipated and premium open world adventure. Each of the 3 alliances fight for the Ruby Throne of Tamriel in the Imperial City by fighting for control of key strategic territories including valuable resources like lumber mills and farms as well as fortresses. Factions and players will be able to find and control Elder Scrolls themselves, powerful artifacts that will help each of them in the on-going battle, while opposing forces attempt to steal them back in a capture-the-flag style mechanic.
Elder Scrolls Online is set to feature the largest PvP battles seen so far in an MMORPG with hundreds of on screen players taking part. Capturing Elder Scrolls and territories will be much easier using the game’s immense Siege Weapons allowing players to control powerful weapons such as catapults, trebuchets and battering rams to destroy walls, keeps and gates. Completing such feats and capturing strongholds or even just securing victory in a PvP battle earns players points and gold to purchase siege weaponry and bonuses.
Fight well and increase your player-rank and you will be crowned emperor of your faction, an honour bestowed on the user with the highest rank and grants the player special abilities on the battlefield.

To gain access to the Elder Scrolls Online Beta you’ll need to fill in a detailed application form which will help the beta team assess if your interests, experience and equipment is suitable for the testing. The details to provide include:
- Personal Information (Name, Email etc)
- Gaming Profile (Games you’ve played, guilds you belong to)
- Other MMOGs you have beta tested
- Your Play Style (solo, group etc)
- Prefered online gaming activities (PVE, PVP, Crafting etc)
- System Profile (DXDiag)

- Opt in & T&Cs including agreement to nondisclosure agreement
